Privacy Policy

OnwardHome helps people, families and employers with international relocation. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. In this policy, “OnwardHome”, “we” and “us” mean the team that runs onwardhome.ai.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you ask us to contact you, we collect:

If you go on to work with us, we will collect the further details needed to plan and coordinate your move, such as family members, addresses, travel dates and documents. How we handle that information is also covered by your service agreement with us.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. We use these to run and secure the website.

This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

We process your information to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract, to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running and securing our business, and to comply with the law. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

International transfers

Because we help people move between countries, your information may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where the law requires it, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for these transfers.

If you are in mainland China, the information you submit through this website is transferred to providers outside China for the purposes described in this policy. Where the Personal Information Protection Law requires separate consent for this, we will ask for it, and you can contact us at any time with questions about the transfer.

How long we keep it

If you contact us but do not become a client, we keep your request for up to 24 months and then delete it. If you become a client, we keep your information for as long as we provide our services and afterwards for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to delete and correct it; and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

To make a request, email hello@onwardhome.ai. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information through it. When we help a family move, we collect information about children only from their parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
